Today ENCE eSports have announced that they have signed Rainbow Six team, GiFu eSports.
GiFu have been a solidified team for quite some time within the Rainbow Six scene having played in every Pro League season so far. GiFu, rather than signing for an organisation early looked to be creating their own brand by getting a professional logo made and jerseys made under the GiFu name however that has now changed.
ENCE have revealed their Rainbow Six team on the back of taking a step back from Counter-Strike after a failed venture following the signing of the ex-SkitLite team.
The ENCE line up will make their offline debut at the Nordic Championships in Helsinki should they qualify through to the play offs.
Captain Niklas ‘Willkey’ Ojalainen made a statement regarding signing for ENCE:
“We are excited to be joining ENCE eSports as their Rainbow Six Siege team. This is our way of making the next step towards winning the championship and we feel that on board with a Finnish flagship eSport organization we have real chance to improve ourselves to the next level and proudly represent Finland as a whole at eSports arenas.”
Best of luck to ex-GiFu and ENCE with their new line up.
